1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SiteSnap mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by SiteSnap ("SiteSnap," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

SiteSnap helps field and construction teams capture daily jobsite information—including logs, photos, and voice notes—and generate branded PDF reports that can be shared or emailed. Features may vary by plan and may change over time.

The Service is a productivity tool. It does not replace your professional, contractual, or legal obligations to document work, safety, or compliance on a jobsite.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the higher age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or infringing purposes;
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use or share;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems, or interfere with the Service's operation;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service except as allowed by law;
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or misuse report sharing features.

You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the jobsite content you capture and share. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store (and any other store we designate). Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or other store account) at confirmation of purchase.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions), or the equivalent for other platforms.
  • Refunds, if any, are handled by Apple (or the applicable store) under their policies. SiteSnap does not store your full payment card details.
  • Entitlements may be confirmed via Apple and RevenueCat. Access to paid features depends on an active valid subscription or trial.

Prices and plan features may change; changes typically apply at the next renewal period as allowed by store rules and applicable law.

6. User content and license

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service ("User Content"), including project data, logs, photos, voice notes, branding assets, and reports derived from your content.

You grant SiteSnap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works from User Content solely as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service—including generating PDFs, running transcription you request, syncing across devices, and delivering shares or emails you initiate.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content and to grant this license, and that User Content does not violate law or third-party rights.

7. Intellectual property

The Service—including software, design, trademarks, and branding (other than your User Content)—is owned by SiteSnap or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name or marks except as needed to identify your use of the Service.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase, analytics and error-monitoring providers, transcription providers, and email/delivery providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SITESNAP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports, transcripts, or sync will be complete or accurate for every use case. You are responsible for verifying critical jobsite documentation.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SITESNAP AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EURO (€100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel paid subscriptions through the App Store (or other applicable store). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated in-app or by email when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Sweden have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may have mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence that cannot be waived.
